January Meter Reading Notification

JANUARY METER READING NOTIFICATION
Meters were read January 14-15, 2021. The following Monday morning, January 18th, office staff tried to retrieve the readings from the laptop and discovered that the laptop hard drive had crashed. Computer tech was called in but was unable to retrieve the file. Another water district loaned us their laptop the following weekend and the whole water system had to be read again. This notification is to alert our customers that our normal 29-30 day billing cycle will be a 38 day billing cycle for the January bill that is due February 15th, 2021.
We appreciate your patience and understanding that while technology is wonderful when it is working properly, it can be oppressive when it is not. While this past billing cycle was longer, please keep in mind that your next bill should be somewhat less due to the billing cycle being approximately a 25 day cycle. (This will be contingent upon your water consumption during the time frame of January 23 – February 16).
